I stayed in a double room at this hote with my friend. The double bed was cute and confortable. The view from window was great, we could see sun set from our room.

I used the shower, the water did not go away, so I had to stop havng shower before I wash my body. After I used the toilet, lots of water came into the bathroom and the floor filled with much water. We phoned the staff, but they never answer. Downstairs was leaking because of our bathroom. The price was including breakfast, but the staff did not give us "breakfast tickets" and did not explain about breakfast at all. We could not have a breakfast, or we had to pay about £3 each for breakfast. and never seen the staff, we just left the key in our room. Never use this hotel again.

We were not impressed with security, the door was left wide open. Got woken up at 4am very loud noise- nothing done about this. In a terrible area- bad service.Would not recommend.

    Nothing, it was awful.

Dirty, breached health and safety regulations and in a very run down area.

Very good and comfortable hotel. The staff is also very helpful and friendly. We loved the breakfast. Have internet access and good television. Despite the good things, I think it needs a good cleaning.

It took more than 30 minutes to find the hotel because my GPS took us to unknown places. I think they need to improve the question of how to find the hotel.

location was close to city centre, and the cost of a taxi to and from the hotel was very reasonable.

acess to room was up a very narrow flight of stairs, so if you had a large suitcase, you would have problems getting up the stairs, three bed room was small with a double bed and one single bed, not ideal if you wanted your own bed,.that said it was only for one night and we didn,t spend much time in the room.

The staff were very friendly and the room was bigger than we thought it would be with the four of us staying there.

friendliness and helpfulness of staff value for money only drawback is that it's off the beaten track, but the staff picked us up from the coach station so that really helped

If you were on the run, from the law or a bad relationship or whatever, you could be forgiven for thinking that this "hotel" would offer the perfect hideaway: it is a 35 mins walk (nearly 2.5 miles) from the edge of the city centre,on a road which even cab drivers don't recognise and in the shadow of a huge derelict warehouse.But......the price you pay,in money and in discomfort, almost beggars belief and would turn the most ardent runaway into a reformed character within a few days. Features include: surly staff whose idea of customer service is to look up momentarily from a screen and smile painfully at you; a shower which floods the bathroom and the bedroom; no towels; a bedside lamp which doesn't work; a view over acres of abandoned dockland; a stunningly bad "breakfast" in a clapped out bar area and a general ambience similar to a Rackman-like,high density/low quality bedsit from the 1950's (although they would have had better manners in those days). Avoid this venue at all costs.

Everything was tickety-boo with a hearty breakfast thrown in - No complaints. We chose O'Tooles primarily because it was the only place we could find that would even consider allowing you to have a dog so our Maltese Terrier was very grateful. So are we. Thank you O'Tooles

I think having some shampoo sachets and mini bars of soap would make a big difference. These are available to buy on the premises but if you check-in late as we did, then you have to wait until the next day.

    The price.

Our party had little interaction with the staff and apart from when we checking in, some of the staff were pretty rude and made us feel that we shouldn't be bothering them. They took full payment from my card before my arrivial, despite stating that they would only take a deposit of 20% and that we would settle the bill on check in. The room was small, dirty and really basic, we expected as much from the price however what we were faced with was beyond acceptable. This place done the job but it's not somewhere you'd take someone special!

Room was small but tidy. Breakfast was good, staff friendly.

Power-shower was adequate if a little on a weak side. Walls are a bit on the thin side (best hope for quiet neighbours). Hotel interior a little tired outside of the rooms but not a major problem.

WiFi should have been provided - wasn't. Rude staff member - only one person available. Terrible smell upon arrival - seemed like in the middle of deep chemical cleaning. No towels. Grey bed cloths instead of white ones.

Great value for money. Don't be put off by the scruffy exterior, rooms are clean and comfortable

it was a memorable experience staying there. although it was not a luxurious one, the service was awesome. the room was lovely + the view was breath taking. besides, me + my girlfriend enjoyed the sweet breakfast very much. anyway, it is way better than some of the reviews.

good value for budget, breakfast was higher than expectation, as you won't expect too much at such price. Not really too far away from city centre, 15 minutes walk to Liverpool One.

The surrounding area is too quiet and old. Decoration a bit old.
